K9 Dog Rescue

Sponsor one of our special dogs!

Sponsoring a K9 Rescue Group dog only costs $7.50 per week. The funds go towards much needed food, medical care and training, as well as improved grooming, bedding and kennel facilities.

When you sponsor a dog, a postcard with information and a photo about one of our furry residents is sent to you; each month a new dog is featured on a beautifully presented and personalised postcard. Due to the number of sponsors and dogs at K9 Rescue Group, you are not able to choose your sponsor dog; however, long-term residents are given preference as they require the most love. When a sponsor dog is rehomed, new sponsor dogs are introduced. Please understand we are unable to update sponsors about rehomed sponsor dogs, due to confidentiality legislation.

Sponsoring a dog is easy. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, money order or direct deposit. When making a payment try to pay prior to the 27th of each month, as postcards are sent in the last week of the month to ensure they get to you early the following month.

To sponsor a dog, download a Dog Sponsorship Registration Form for sponsorship and payment options, and further information. Bring in or mail the completed form to K9 Rescue Group, or e-mail to our Sponsorship Coordinator via dog.sponsorship@k9dogrescue.org.au.

As some of our dogs come to K9 Rescue Group from unknown backgrounds, and in some cases with special needs and anxieties, only those seriously interested in adopting are permitted to make an appointment to meet and visit the dogs.
